Koh to Guan Eng: Bring it on

GEORGE TOWN: Former Penang Chief Minister Tan Sri Dr Koh Tsu Koon is prepared to debate the land scam issue with his successor Lim Guan Eng if the latter issues a formal challenge.

However, Dr Koh is setting two conditions.

"The first is to ensure a truly fair debate. The other is meant to protect the interest of the state in a pending court hearing on the case," he said on Monday.

He requested that all files and documents pertaining to the case in the Chief Minister's office and the various state departments be declassified and made available to him so he could prepare for the debate.

"Such information is needed by both sides to prepare for arguments in the debate. It will not be fair if he has access to information and I don't," he said. (READ MORE HERE)
